I shot my wife for denying me sex for 7 months - 76-year-old man

A newly-wed 76-year-old man, Donald Royce, has confessed to shooting his 62-year-old bride for refusing him sex.

Royce told NY Daily News he grew agitated and frustrated and shot his wife in the bum for refusing him sex after 7 months of marriage.

According to him, his initial plan wasn't to shoot his wife 'but to shoot his mattress'.

Reports indicate that the couple's roommate heard the argument followed by two gun shots and when she went to see what happened, Royce pointed the gun at her but she was able to talk him into letting her call the ambulance for his wife.

When authorities arrived at the home, Royce was said to have immediately confessed.

He was quoted as saying, "We got married in August, but are yet to consummate the marriage.

"I shot her and the gun is in my room," Donald, who has been charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, added.

Sources at the Presidential Villa, Abuja told one of our correspondents on Friday that Buhari was being expected this weekend. The sources said that presidential aides and officials of the Protocol Unit, as well as security operatives, had been put on the alert over the President’s imminent arrival. One of the so...
